ED&I
Equal opportunities
Scitech-EKIUM provides equal opportunities to all individuals, regardless of their race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, age or any other characteristic. Our culture fosters openness, transparency and fairness. Scitech-EKIUM’s ED&I strategy comprises three key goals and identifies the priorities and actions being taken. It outlines the key roles and responsibilities and how we will track progress and measure success.
Goals:
- Workforce diversity – recruit from a diverse, qualified group of candidates to increase diversity of thought and perspective.
- Workplace inclusion – foster a culture that encourages collaboration, equality, flexibility, transparency and fairness to enable all employees to contribute to their full potential and to increase colleague retention.
- Sustainability and accountability – identify and breakdown systemic barriers to full inclusion by embedding equality, diversity and inclusion in policies and practices and equipping leaders with the ability to manage diversity and be accountable for the results.
Realising the benefits of a more equal, diverse and inclusive workforce (for example increased creativity, innovation, productivity, brand enhancement, talent attraction and retention) leads to sustained business growth and performance.

Employee Performance and Development
Scitech-EKIUM’s success depends on the engagement and performance of our people. Our performance and development reviews play an important part in delivering on this, by:
- Creating objectives and personal development plans that are aligned with Company goals and strategic plans.
- Rewarding employees according to their individual contribution.
- Providing the support and development employees need for their role and future career development.
Employee engagement is a top priority for us, and through our annual employee survey and regular pulse surveys we ask our Teams for feedback to ensure we are listening and improving. These insights help us shape our culture, refine our processes, and invest in the programmes that matter most to our people.
Disability Confident
As a Disabled Confident Committed Employer, Scitech-EKIUM is a signatory to the UK government’s Disability Confident scheme, designed to encourage the recruitment and retention of people with disabilities and those with long term health conditions.
