Scitech –  was born from a desire to be at the forefront of engineering, construction, design and qualification consultancy by serving the complex needs of the biotechnology, life sciences, pharmaceutical and technology sectors.

Founded by a small team of like-minded industry experts in 2002, we have a passion  to offer an alternative experience to our clients. Scitech would thrive by providing a personal approach that was driven by customer-focus and which was nimble, flexible and innovative in delivering multi-disciplinary construction and engineering consultancy services, providing added value for our clients. This includes our pharmaceutical design and qualification consultancy services that we offer.

This vision still holds true today.

From these foundations, we have built a reputation for care, expertise and experience that has enabled us to attract and retain high calibre colleagues. We have carved a market in biotechnology, pharmaceutical design and manufacturing, and we demonstrate niche capabilities in sectors including novel therapeutics, radiopharmaceuticals, pharmaceutical and other highly regulated and complex technology and process environments. We pride ourselves in offering bespoke solutions to meet the very specific needs of our many clients.

As our success has grown, so has our size – with staff numbers increasing and new offices established in Antwerp, Cardiff, Manchester and a purpose-built headquarters in Godalming, Surrey.

Our next chapter as Scitech-EKIUM sees us as part of a 2,500 employee community in 14 countries. Life sciences is a strategic growth area for both Scitech and Ekium, and together, life sciences represent 25% of Ekium’s total turnover, with over €90million in revenue and more than 550 dedicated professionals across Belgium, France, Italy, Spain, Switzerland and UK.
