Scitech Engineering Ltd Joins Ekium Group, Becoming Scitech–EKIUM

Scitech Engineering Ltd is proud to announce its integration into the French engineering and automation group, Ekium. As part of this strategic move, the company will now operate under the name Scitech–EKIUM.

Ekium is a leading European engineering and automation firm, employing over 2,500 professionals across 14 countries. This partnership marks a significant milestone for both organisations, combining Scitech’s deep expertise in delivering complex, GMP-compliant projects in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, life sciences and advanced technology sectors with Ekium’s global reach and multidisciplinary capabilities.

This collaboration enhances Scitech’s ability to expand its service offering and project capacity, while supporting Ekium’s strategic growth and presence in the UK market. It particularly strengthens our local capabilities in the pulp and paper and nuclear sectors. Clients can expect the same high standards of technical excellence, innovation and client-focused delivery, now backed by a broader international network.

A Shared Commitment to Life Sciences

Life sciences is a strategic growth area for both Scitech and Ekium, together, life sciences represent 25% of Ekium’s total turnover, with over €90million in revenue and more than 550 dedicated professionals across Belgium, France, Italy, Spain, Switzerland and UK.

Ekium’s Chief Executive Officer, Jean-François Yot, welcomed the move, saying “We are delighted to welcome Scitech into the Ekium family. Ekium’s life sciences teams support a wide range of clients, including GSK, Novartis, Sanofi, Takeda and UCB, across segments such as biologics, vaccines, medical devices, nuclear medicine and hospital pharmacy. Their expertise spans process engineering, clean utilities, automation, validation and GMP compliance.
