Scitech is proud to host the Construction Cup ‘24
We are pleased to announce we are the host and title sponsor of the Construction Cup ’24, an annual corporate 5-a-side tournament where teams battle for the championship title.
Returning for 2024, this annual charity football tournament will take place on 23 May at Crystal Palace Football Club’s Selhurst Park – a stadium that is renowned as having one of the best atmospheres in the Premier League.
The pitch will be transformed into 4 standard 5-a-side fields, based on the Champions League format, encompassing group stages (with 4 teams per group), followed by a quarter-final, semi-final, third-place playoff, and culminating in an epic final, guaranteeing each participating team a minimum of three games.
Teams will have the chance to not only compete on the prestigious pitch but will also get to use the home or away dressing rooms and showers. Post-matches, teams and spectators will be invited to celebrate the day with a complimentary drink and meal in the Malcolm Allison lounge which pays homage to the legendary manager it is named after.
The tournament is supporting Unseen, a UK charity working towards a world without modern slavery. The charity provides safehouses and support in the community for survivors of trafficking and modern slavery.
Chris Hayward, Mechanical Building Services Engineer and organiser of the Construction Cup, said: “The Construction Cup is a fantastic event for a truly worthy cause. Now in its third year, the event’s popularity continues to soar, and we aim to host 24 teams this year. We have many teams returning year-on-year and hope to welcome new companies to enjoy the day.”
Entry costs £975 per team including your 20% donation to Unseen. Companies can field as many players as they like, with each match limited to 5 players and Three substitutes.
There are further sponsorship opportunities, including:
- Player of the Tournament – Golden Glove and Boot
