Employee Owned

Get in touch

Scitech was founded in 2002 and since 2012 has been owned as an Employee Benefit Trust. The Trust is managed by a group of Scitech employees – The Board of Trustees – who manage the company on behalf of all staff for the long-term benefit of all employees, ensuring Scitech remains independent and focused on delivering Perfect Outcomes for its clients.

There is a clear sense of pride, responsibility and accountability – staff understand their role as it relates to company objectives and recognise the company performance. As an employee owned company, Scitech believes in community spirit, supporting local charities and good causes. Staff are involved in determining the nominated charity for annual corporation giving and various staff organised fundraisers. Each year 1% of the companies operating profit is donated to this employee chosen charity.

Scitech’s designers fully understood the nature and requirements of our business and engaged with the users to develop a modular design for the cell culture laboratories and GMP suites.  The project was delivered successfully and ongoing support was provided to ensure the commissioning and functional operation of the laboratories.

Head of Facilities, Covance

The facility enables us to reconfigure the laboratories with minimal time and effort, in order to meet the changing needs of our work.

Laboratory Manager, B530 Discovery Park, Pfizer

I’ve used Scitech to act as consultants and provide commissioning services on two major radiopharmaceutical production facilities in Belfast and Cardiff. Scitech were a key partner in designing, commissioning and validating the facility and played a major part in successfully delivering a functioning facility.

Dr Chris Marshall , Operations Director, Cardiff University

We needed a company to partner with us at all stages, from initial feasibility, through detailed facility design on the build programme and to the final commissioning. We have been impressed by the technical calibre of the Scitech team and their overall professional approach to keeping our project on time, specification and budget. We look forward to our facility opening in 2012 following a true partnership with the full Scitech team.
