Senior Building Services Engineer – Cardiff, Wales

We are looking for a Building Services Engineer based in or around Cardiff. Company growth has lead to expansion within our regional office in Cardiff who focus on Life Scienece and Pharmaceutical projects in Wales and the South West.

This is an exciting opportunity to be a key player in a growing business and to advance your career in complex technically challenging and interesting projects.

Reporting to the South West Operations Manager, you will be involved in the design process from initial conception through to final production. The successful candidate will be integral in driving ambitious projects forward with our discipline experts, partners and prestigious clients.

Scitech Senior Building Services Engineers prepare discipline designs for projects at their various stages including calculations, schedules, design drawings, specifications and other details as necessary for the project. They work as part of in-house multi-discipline project design teams contributing to the design activities and providing designer deliverables.

With a degree (or equivalent) in Building Services, Environmental or Mechanical engineering you will be Chartered or working towards Chartership. HVAC competence is a MUST. You will have upwards of 5 years post graduate building services design and project engineering experience typically in hospital engineering, life sciences, pharamceutical, bio-technology, laboratories, industrial or scientific projects.

In addition you will be a confident, articulate, professional communicator with strong presentation skills.  You will be a proactive, dynamic and a reliable leader and project team member who can support junior members of the team where required.
