What we’re looking for

We are looking for an experienced Health and Safety Manager to provide support and advice to the business on health, Safety and Construction Design and Management (CDM). 

The role

Reporting to the Managing Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for Scitech’s Health, Safety and Environmental processes, procedures and systems. This includes ensuring Scitech’s compliance with CDM regulations through support and advice to internal teams and external stakeholders and the provision of operational and functional expertise to site-based teams on construction Health, Safety and Environment matters.

Key Skills and Competencies:

As a minimum, the role requires Certified Membership of the Association for Project Safety (CMaPS) or someone who is actively working towards this. Previous experience in Construction Health and Safety together with pharmaceutical utilities or equipment is essential. The successful candidate will be fully conversant with CDM 2015 regulations and other relevant Health, Safety and Environmental legislation. A relevant NEBOSH qualification would also be highly desirable.
